Vodafone One Portal
A program to build a new corporate and eCommerce portal for Vodafone Greece.
Handling multiple vendors on all landscapes, Core IT and Digital. Organizing cross-team workshops and validating solutions based on business specifications. Approving costs, challenging implementations and time plans making sure that the program will be delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
The eCommerce section included all product types, tangible, intangible and the cross sections between them (Double play, Triple Play, with device, stand alone, Mobile, Fixed, Consumer & Corporate products). An advanced user interface had to be built in order to accommodate all business logic, the numerous product and service combinations, and the complex ordering flow.
The main challenge was the handling of several different vendor teams across platforms [ SAP, CRB, ERP, Billing, Digital] and managing internal stakeholders as they were from all lines of business and departments.
The way I succeeded in this was to establish clear communication pathways between vendor teams, set the expectations of the organization early enough and in parallel towards the internal audience, provide frequent updates, communicate issues on time, be transparent and make decisions that were needed in order to move forward.
